I ask this question because in races that should be slam dunks, tea party candidates are having tough races. In Nevada, anyone of the other Republican candidates would've beat Harry Reid by 15-20+ points, but Angle is basically letting Harry Reid stay in the race and giving him a chance to win with her stupid comments, Reid should be an easy defeat due to his record. In Florida, Rubio had so much hype after he won the Republican nomination, but he is a little too far right for the moderate and slightly right Florida residents, and Crist now is leading in that race. In ultra conservative Kentucky, Paul has a descent but not huge lead over a Democratic candidate who's not even well known. All these races should be blow out races for the Republican party, but they are for some reason very close. Now the Tea Party has sort of had success with the election of Scott Brown, who is actually a very moderate Republican really an independent, and a few others so I know they can be helpful. But in these midterm elections will the tea party pushing Republicans very right help or hurt the election.... Read More »
